What is the ipower Card?
The ipower Card is the safe, convenient way to receive and carry money, and it's so easy to get. You automatically qualify for the ipower Card when you select an Assisted Refund (AR) or when you are approved for a Refund Anticipation Loan (RAL), Money Now Loan or Assisted Refund/Bank Loan (AR/BL) at a Jackson Hewitt Tax Service office, or just call (866) 518-4722.

How do I activate my card?
Immediately sign the back of your ipower Card.  Merchants are not required to accept unsigned cards.  Then call the ipower Card Customer Service activation line at (866) 518-4722* for step-by-step instructions.

How do I add funds to my ipower account?
Your ipower Card is re-loadable, so you can continue to enjoy all the benefits of the ipower Card all year long. You can deposit payroll funds, government benefits (unemployment, Social Security, Veterans Benefits), and cash using retail network solutions like Western Union or Money Gram. What are the benefits of reloading funds to my ipower account?
When you arrange to have funds loaded to your card account on a recurring basis, you automatically receive a personalized ipower Card in the mail. Then you can continue to use your ipower Card to make purchases and pay bills all year long. You’ll also gain free online access to your account information. What is an "iAdvance" and how do I enroll?
The iAdvanceSM Line of Credit from MetaBank allows you to easily access a short-term loan through your ipower Card so you can avoid costly overdraft fees. iAdvance also reports to credit bureaus so you have the opportunity to improve your credit. What is my Personal Identification Number (PIN)?
You must create a four-digit PIN when you call to activate your ipower Card. You will need to enter this number to complete certain PIN-based, point-of-sale transactions, such as getting cash back and withdrawing cash or checking your account balance at ATMs. PIN changes are effective immediately. Never share your PIN with anyone and do not carry it with your card.

Where can I use my ipower Card?
You may use your card at over one million ATMs worldwide that display the Visa and Interlink® brand marks. You can also use your ipower Card to make signature-based purchases at no charge, and to make PIN-based, point-of-sale purchases wherever Visa debit cards are accepted.

What if there is not enough money in my account?
If you do not have sufficient funds in your ipower Card account to complete a purchase, then you can pay for part of your purchase with the card (up to your available funds) and pay the balance in cash or with other means.

How do I access cash?
You can withdraw cash from any ATM where you see the Visa or Interlink brand marks. You can also get cash back at PIN-based, point-of-sale terminals that display the Visa or Interlink brand marks.

Are there any limits to the amount of cash I can withdraw from my ipower Card account?
The ipower Card has a $5,000 daily limit on point-of-sale purchases, and ATM cash withdrawals in any 24-hour period. Some ATM owners / operators / merchants may have established daily withdrawal limits and/or per transaction limits that you should verify before making a purchase or withdrawing cash. What if my ipower Card is lost or stolen?
Immediately call Customer Service at 1-866-518-4722*. Your missing card will be cancelled and a replacement card will be issued to you.

What if I notice purchases on my statement that I did not make?
If you see charges on your ipower Card receipt or statement that you did not make, immediately call Customer Service at 1-866-518-4722*. If you need to formally dispute a charge, Customer Service can provide you with instructions.

How do I check my ipower Card account balance?
You can verify your available funds for free online or at any ATM that displays the Visa or Interlink brand marks. Some ATM owners and operators assess a surcharge for this service. You can also call Customer Service at (866) 518-4722*.

What if a merchant won't accept my ipower Card?
If a merchant accepts Visa debit cards, but refuses to accept your ipower Card, ask the merchant to call the Customer Service number on the back of your card at (866) 518-4722.

When does my ipower Card expire?
Your ipower Card expires on the last day of the month embossed on the front of your card. Before your card expires, call Customer Service at (866) 518-4722 to request a new ipower Card or simply deposit funds to your card. You may also choose to close out your ipower Card account and have a check mailed to you in the amount of your account balance.

You have free fraud protection with your ipower Card, so any charge made to your card without your knowledge is covered under the Visa Zero Liability® policy* (terms and conditions apply).
